Hey Susy,
My women's group spent last week reading about Mother Theresa and are working our way through some spiritual disciplines this week to practice what we learned about her. My disicpline is fasting from sugar this week. So on day 3 (which is usually my breaking point) my son informed me that he brought his dad and I a box of donuts for breakfast. So there sits that familiar pink box on the counter, donuts getting harder and harder. Except the ones my husband ate up. I have overcome the urge! Each time I think about that box, and look longingly at it, God speaks to me and I'm distracted from the need for them. For some reason I am leaving those last 2 donuts there as a reminder that all things are possible, even saying no to my beloved frosted sprinkled donuts. Thanks for the inspiration!
